China has announced another $75 billion in retaliatory tariffs on imports from the U.S., which will be effective Sept. 1 and Dec. 15. President Trump did not take the news so well, increasing existing tariffs on $250 billion in Chinese goods from 25% to 30% and the tariffs slated to go into effect Sept. 1 from 10% to 15%.
